Or, just U, actually.

The A-Z Blogging of Fashion is coming to an end!  After this blog tehre is only what… 5 letters left, EEKZORZ!

First up I spose we start with the Hair.  The Unique is/was part of ETD’s Couture Collection that was retired not so recently, after Elika incorporated them into her “Normal” Collection with newer textures.  The Unique was probably my fav of the CC, it struck me as something not ordinary, but not over the top weird, pretty perfect and pretty much how my hair tends to fly in RL sometimes!  I chose the colour Rust, as I don’t often go Red, not since my newb days (and that was blood red :P), so… sorry if you guys don’t own this, cos it rules!

The Eyes are again, what one may call ” a cheat “, I would disagree!  They are from Celestial Studios and are part of the Unnatural Series, in Green!  The Series begins with a U, so hush it!    I love the strikingly bright colour of these, not really that Unnatural, but not your every day set of eyes either, score!

The Skin is a Skin i’ve been trying to get to “fit” me forever.  Launa’s Chai Skins really do look GORGEOUS… on her, and a lot of other ppl, on me… not so gorgeous :|  I found my face looked all weird, but I think I got it to a semi reasonable state by fiddling with sliders a bit and perfecting myself a “Chai” shape.  Undine is one of the Chai makeups I like most.   It’s gorgeously pale/nude lips with just a smidge of colour, and the brighter eyes, not too heavy, but noticable, and of course I chose the freckled version, freckles FTW!

The outfit was a toughy, I had a lot of U outfits in my folder, but wanted to mix and match a bit, and i’ll be buggered if half the stuff wouldn’t sodding match very well!  In the end I opted for a skirt from Nyte N Day, part of the Unravel Dress, and a very nice dress it was too, until I took the skirt away, but still a nice skirt, no?  Excuse the suckiness of prim to clothing colour match, I blame WL :)   The Uptown Top I am wearing is from Refuge and upon close inspection I notice it’s more like a Shrug and a Top in one!  All on one layer, it’s perfectly simple and would look awesome with jeans, skirts, or just on it’s own, hey.. why the hell not, eh?

Finally the Shoes, another Uptown set, this time KCD, where Kimberly designs gorgeous shows, fantastic jewellery and some of the best slipper EVAH.  Again a simple pair that looked great with this outfit, but when I changed into Jeans when I relogged, look just as awesome!

U in RL.. hmmm what U can I think of, the only U is Urethra and I don’t really wanna talk about those!  So I guess i’ll leave you with Underwear, hate the sodding stuff, boobs should always defy gravity and well.. don’t get me started on pants/knickers/pantaloons/wtfevers.. just DO NOT (hate cheesestring pants, EEWWW).

I notcied a lot of bloggers are doing BBB, something that blogger Alicia set, so I decided i’d answer one, and steal one I found on sis’ blog from CeN’s poll, so here I am!

Would you ever meet in real life someone that you know from SL?

Yup, have done and will do again!  Firstly I guess I attended a UK SL Meet, I spent most of the time barfing in the toilet, well ALL the time actually (nerves <,<), but I remember seeing Anshe Chung, Fallingwater, Hiro Pendragon and SO many more, all were great (from what I remember), before that I, of course, met sis (WillowC) a plenty, and she came here for new year and it was a blast! We get into so much trouble it’s undescribbibibible funniness.

Then I met Canimal, who is most adorable, if not a lil scary (lil old cani will ALWAYS scare me :P), the gorgeous and smexy Kris Ritter, whom I adore more than words and don’t talk to nearly enough, I met Maxx Monde, king of shiny… Fizik, oh god, I have met too many SLer’s to mention really, i’ve taken trains, buses and feet to meet a wide range of people and I hope to meet more.  I so desperately want to go to any RL meets ppl have, but with kids it’s not all that easy, so maybe i’ll lurk there in spirit, eh?

How hard do you think it is to find a relationship in SL? Where are people meeting each other?

Ok, this is a subject I could babble on about forever and a sodding day, I’ve been there, done that too many times to mention, each time it was an EPIC FAIL situation, but i’ve managed to remain friends with *most* of my ex’s, I think my mistake is that I was always looking for something that was MORE than just SL, and that’s where it all went arse over tit.

I’ve been single in SL now for oooooooooooh, 2 years nearly? maybe more, maybe less, can’t really remember, and it is a bit depressing, not because of boingage (tee hee), not because I miss presents (hahaha presents), but because I miss someone to share my SL with.  I would venture into a relationship again, sure… and others might think WTF you have someone in RL, and yeah I do, whom I love unconditionally, which is why if I ever ventured into an SL relationship again, that is what it would be.. SL.  It would be someone to share those fun SL times with, to spend time with, laugh, cry and generally be an SL companion.

I’m sure people can have relationships in SL that pan out just fine, that go to RL and they happily ever after.. but for me, that’s a nono, because I already have something in RL I wouldn’t swap for the world, I did infact meet my other half on the internet, sorta kinda… Anyone remember Duke Nukem 3D on Wireplay.. yup

So that’s that really, to sum it up… yeah i’ve met ppl and i’d do it again if I was able andddddddd SL relationships are a bit of a taboo subject with me (probably cos i’m usually drawn to asshats :P) but i’d venture into one again, for the companionship alone!

T-Time!

Firstly i’m sorrry about the lack of updates, I think I thought it would be easier to juggle RL, SL, LOTRO and stuff, but clearly, I was wrong RL has been uber hectic, Sian is now furniture cruising, so I need eyes in the back of my sodding head! She’s 7mths old already, time has flown so quickly and I have to return to work soon (BOOOOOOOO), but I figured it was time to come on and get T done and dusted!

This is my normal kind of look, I say normal, but i’m a bit of a chameleon anyway one day I like to be in a floaty dress/skirt set, the next I like to boy it up with clunky boots and stuff, but I really liked the way T turned out, hope you guys do too!

If we start with the skin, this is a Vogue skin, by Starleypants <3, and is one of the Deviant Nation collection. Shown in the tone Amber, one of my fav tones and it’s Drama Queen - Trash. I love this skin because you look at the name and expect Trash to equal looking a right state (or you do if you’re me), but you don’t look a state, you look spectacular!  On the top of the eyelids you have a gorgeous peacock green and under the eye you have a sexy sky blue, a great mix and with the addition of really simple flesh tone lips, this is one makeup that can be mixed with ANY style you want to pull off!

The hair is from Kin and it’s Tara in Blonde. This must be one of my all time fav Kin hairs, I love the hat, I love the tousled hair, I just love it, basically! It’s definately a casual only style, you couldn’t really get away with that hat and a skirt, you could try tho!   I think this could probably be classed as one of the best styles on the grid, but maybe i’m biased, who knows??

The eyes are a bit of a cheat, I digress.   I couldn’t find a “T” eye ANYWHERE!  Then I searched by “Brown” box and came across these eyes from Opium, and they are called Tintable Brown, so they DO begin with T, so a bit of a cheat? Perhaps.   I did tint them slightly, they are a basic pair of eyes and it’s cool you can tint em, doesn’t matter if they are blue or brown, you can make em any colour you want! WOO!

For the outfit I wanted a casual look to match the casual hat/hair combo, and I remembered that Cani had made some open jackets recently, and in my mess of an inventory there they were!  “Them Bones” open jacket… shown here in Grey, available in more colours at the store, this Jacket can be worn alone, for that sexy cleavage showing look, or you can put something under it and just use it as an overjacket, choice is well and truly yours!

There are three (or two, technically) pieces of this outfit from the lubberly Sinjun of EtchD, the pants are Tomboy and if you don’t own these, you should!  A nice pair of checkered (or is that houndstooth? I’m wank at patterns) pants with prim options if you desire, the only prim bit i’ve chosen is the skull buckle, but you get pant bottoms, strings and patch options too!   The other piece (s) is the tattoo, it’s really a one piece, I suppose as it’s just one tattoo on both the undershirt and underpant layer - Tangleweed!   I love Sinjun’s tat’s, I think they are pretty hard to be rivalled, but then again I don’t really do a lot of tat shopping, so maybe i’m missing out!

The final piece of the ensemble are the boots, these are from Sinistyle, Krius is indeed my boot dealer.  These are the Trespasser Beware boot, and they are the ones with all the barbed wire!   Makes for a really sexy kick ass look, and they come in options also, I’m wearing one rusted, and one regular boot, obviously you can match, but I like to be a bit odd sometimes (yes, sometimes, shup).

So that’s my T outfit, I think it meshes well!

Other T’s that I would like to mention are uh… I don’t quite know, i’ve got mental block!  Travelling… have you been travelling? I would have loved to have done that, but I chose to settle down at like… 17 and had my eldest at 19/20, so I never really got the chance to travel, although i’m not convinced I could live out of a backpack and eat like a student for months (I like my luxury foods, sue me!).

Ok, I guess I should go, Sian is whacking my ceramic breakfast bowl with a steel spoon, that might not end well! EEK!

Sssssssssssstabbity!

Well, come on… you knew that was coming, SURELY???

Yes, it’s S time and what does S stand for? I think the S word I am most commonly known for is STABBITY, so it makes sense, at least to me

Firstly I have to apologise for the lack of decent pictures, my craptop has decided that it really does hate SL now, even with 2gig extra memory and if I try and zoom much, it makes everything go all freaky *sigh*, time to trade things for a new pc I think, and you don’t wanna know what my other half wants me to trade bwahahaha… *cough* anyway…

I found S so so SO hard to do, because I had that many fantastic S things in my inventory that I was totally spoilt for choice, so I tried to pick things that at least matched the Stabbity look I was going for, but man, you should see my inventory it’s SHAMEFUL, I haven’t really “put anything away” since I started playing LOTRO a couple of months ago, yet i’ve still managed to shop, so I think you can imagine what my folders look like and it ain’t a pretty sight, and it’s making me not want to log in, THIS is why I should stay organised, DOI.

So, I think the main piece of the outfit that I wanted to show off, is the Stabbity Hoody. It’s by my wonderful bestest friend Arbers, who owns Winter Moon, a most awesome shop! I like to think she made the Stabbity Hoody in honour of me, at a time where BOY, was I stabbity The thing I like about this Hoody is that it comes in various options.

Firstly you get the hoody itself, that has a layered look to it, with the stripey undershirt bit to it (all on one layer tho, keep up! :P) and of course, the splattered blood marks and small skull motif, a must for anything “stabbity”, I think you’ll agree! The Hoody comes with 3 styles of “hood” you get one with the Stabbity Cap, one with bangs and you get one that goes down, so you can wear your fav stabbity hair!

So to work around the most wonderful hoody in my inventory, I decide to go kinda dark and dingy, a look I am familiar with in SL! Jeans are from Refuge, the Socialite jeans, in black dirty, paired with Sinistyles Shark necklace and Shitkicker boots for a “Come mess with me and i’ll stabbity your face off” look I also chose a piercing to go with this one, from RaveNation, a store that totally rocks my socks to the absolute core! The Starfuct piercing is just one of many things in the store that rocks, and if you haven’t been to RaveNation, you should go, like right now!

The skin is from Canimal, and is one of her newest line Essence. This is Essence of Mystery Snow makeup, and it’s one of my most prized skins. I think it has such a soft look to it, but fierce at the same time, I love how plump the lips look, I know that sometimes ppl are like WAA WAA JOLIE LIPS BOO, but hey, I’ve said before, I prefer the pouter to the punier, and with these skins you get a fantastic pout without even trying! It has light lips, with light eyeshadow, hence the name Snow, and it looks refreshing, makes a change from dark eyes, yay!

The hair I chose to wear with the hood down is from Aoharu, another store I found by accident while a sale was on and OH EM GEEEEE, fell in love. They have some wicked hair, I didn’t quite get around the sim as my craptop was like a frying pan, but I have heard some fantastic things about Aoharu’s other stuff and if their hair is anything to go buy, I need to go back! This is actually a guy’s hair - Steven, but I think I rock it pretty well, and the messy look goes with my all over look, I believe!

The eyes I found at Tuli’s when I went to join the herd and look at the new release skins this week, I bought the fat pack of eyes as they have a great glint to them, I love glinty eyes! These are Steel and they come in two sizes too, so you can go for the bigger doe eye, or the smaller eye look, whatever floateth your boateth, I chose bigger

So I guess that concludes my Stabbity outfit, I hope you enjoyed it as much as i’d enjoy virtually stabbing some people in the face (yeah, I have issues, sue me :D). I dunno what other S’s there are, well I do, there are fooking tons!

I like the SIMPLE things in life, that begins with S, I like to be treated with respect, I don’t like to be used/mucked around/let down… that’s pretty Simple, right? You’d think so, huh? Ok, i’ll shut up before this turns into a rant about how men suck and need to be stabbityed and named and shamed, bwahahahaa.

R is for RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWR

Yes, oh yes… it is.

I know what you’re thinking “Geeeeze, Willis is ALWAYS rawr about something” and it’s true! I am! There are so many rawrity things going on at the moment i’m all rawred out!

Anyway, despite my RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWR status, I thought i’d go for a casual look, instead of a “STAB RAWR STAB” one, after all, won’t S be for Stabbity? *GRIN*

So, from top to bottom, as usual..

The hair is from Sinistyle, and is Roodle! Roodle is a kinda cutesy look with it being a double pony style, with a cheeky hint of colour, I say hint, more like blast in the face :P   Either way Roodle is a style for those that aren’t always conventional, it does come in more subtle colourings, but I picked the special “RoOdle” colour version, which you got if you got the fat pack, with the lubberly pink and blonde streaks

Skin is from Fleur (or TaP Vivant) and is the Rebelle make-up 3, I know that Roslin was discontinuing some packs, and I have an inkling this was one of them, but i’m probably wrong, I can’t get in world to check at the moment, BOO, I SUCK!  Rebelle make-ups are for the Rebel in you, obviously, duh!   This make-up has gorgeously dark cat eye make-up, which I think looks awesome both in RL and SL, if you can pull it off!  With uber pink/purple highlights and sexy lips, it’s a look that sure to catch even the blindest of eyes! (That is, if the eye you are trying to catch hasn’t got their head wedged up their ass, viewing only poop, am I charming or WHAT?)

The eyes are from Celestial Studios and are part of the Unnatural pack, these are Red but I think they look kinda Rusty, so you kinda look Red/Brown, which is great, cos yes, it’s unnatural, but you can still get away with it without looking like you’ve burst a vessel or something!

Now when it came to the outfit, i’d already picked out my hair, so I was trying to get something to match it just a lil bit, it’s not like you’d really wear a fancy bun with some grungy pants, would you? Or would you? Am I fashion retarded? Probably!

The Jacket I chose from Artilleri, I am *such* a huge fan of Antie, it’s just not funneh!  (By the way, check out her new skins, tres awesome!)  This Jacket pushed all my buttons, it’s casual, it’s sexy, it’s well made, it’s just sodding perfect, really!   It’s a track style Jacket called Roxie, it comes in oodles of colours, I chose black, cos i’m boring like that (and it was the only one I had unpacked :P), each arm has an -A- for Artilleri, so it’s branded but not in a way you’d cringe at!

The pants are actually from Roxee, bonus points to anyone that remembers them, and who they are now (except ppl I KNOW that know *points at people*), they are part of a set, and seemed to fit my look well, they come with zips up the side for that slight rebellious look, and jeans are a wardrobe staple, as we ALL know!

Boots are from Sinistyle and are the Ripper Boots, as you can tell from my previous post, I was/am feeling RAWR about things and these boots are perfect for that mood! You have the choice of flicking a blade out from your toe, or not.. my option was to flick one foot out, half nice, half ready to stab your face off, depends which side you catch , I guess! :P   Anyway, they are awesome, they rock my boot loving world and that, is that!

I topped off the look with a Recycled Necklace in Black from Shiny Things, another fantastic job, something a lil different from the norm, but still makes you look like you know what the hell you’re talking about fashion wise, by stepping out of the box, instead of stuffing yourself in it and following the herd, if you don’t own this (and it’s still available, which I *think* it is) you should go get it, really!

That’s about it for R, I guess, I already did my what else does R stand for with RAAAAAAAAAAAAWR, Rage is also a good one, but it’s bad for the soul, apparently, so i’ll keep taking my virtual prozac and try not to let rage consume me, no-one likes Willis on a rageful rampage, oh noes!

Yes, infamous lyrics, i’m feeling slightly emo, and burnt out, so here is a picture to explain how I feel right now:

I knew where I wanted to go with this picture when I first started snapping, but I couldn’t find a pose I wanted and well, I was too lazy to tp to find one, so I gave up on my original thoughts and just snapped this, It’s a crappy pic, I know it is, i’m SO out of touch with taking pictures it’s not funneh!

Anyway, i’m feeling down because I let my guard down, and was burnt… AGAIN, I know, I know… why haven’t I learnt?!?!! So yes, i’m feeling hurt, angry, sad, disappointed and basically like a complete twonk for believing stuff I KNEW was complete tosh, so I guess in this pic, i’m throwing away my heart, so that no-one can find it again and heading to where the brights shine light, to be freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee as a bird (in some sexy undies) Does that make sense? Q - Letter of EVIL!

Yeah, it’s Q, yeah i’ve been baffled and some of you might think i’ve cheated on this one, which maybe I have!

I cannot TELL you how frigging long I trotted around the grid, trying to find things with Q, and short of going to EVERY store EVER, I didn’t have much hope, so I gave up, and came up with the following genius idea

Let me introduce you to Q - QUITE NAKEY! Yep, I am Quite naked. I did, however, find a skin that began with Q, and a tattoo, and well… let’s see, shall we:

Let me start with the skin, I guess! The skin is one of the gorgeous skins from the ROSEMAR Creampuff Collection and she is called Quincy! That’s the name of the Tone (correct me if i’m wrong) and this skin was a freebie, I don’t know if it’s any longer available, but I DO know that I have to get back over to Rosemar and pick up some more! I love the softness of it, and I fell in love with the lips, they are pouty and perfect, without being over the top, plus I didn’t have to mod my face, always a bonus

The eyes, well the eyes I made myself a gajillion years ago when I first dabbled in creating, and I called them Willis - Quaintly Green, I don’t know what, but I did, so again, a bonus for me! I’m pretty sure I could have found some Q eyes though, had I looked.

The tattoo is a new tatt from queen of tatts, Sinjun Soyer! It’s Quaist, and it comes in the negative version you see me sporting, and a solid version, I prefer the negative version, I think it has a softer look, either way, it’s a new tattoo, and I love it!

So I guess that wraps up Q!

Other Q’s this week, include Quilts.. I love quilts.. they keep you toasty warm! Although I tend to sleep with one leg out from under the quilt, i’m a bit OCD like that, must.have.limb.out!!!!

Pee!

Ok, that was just a title beginning with a P, now you’re here, I shall share my P blog with you, sadly (for some) it’s not a blog about peeing, sorry to disappoint

I’m not in SL much at the moment, as i’ve already said, and I got to thinking what great things I probaby don’t own, and how much catching up I have to do with fashion and BLAH, it made me sad, so I decided to try and make this outfit all girly and spring like, for the hideous sunny weather we’re all having.

I picked this hair from ETD, as I’m not a huuuuuuge fan of scuplty hair, but I really love this one, I love how the fringe waves and kinks over the face, and I have my hair like this at the back in RL also, not a pony, but a knotted style pony/bun thinger, doesn’t pull on the roots and looks ok at the same time! YAAAAAAAAAAY, it also comes in Elika’s Brown, a texture I fell completely in love with and cannot possibly live without, EVER!

The eyes are from Miriel (where else, eh?) and are the Pacific eyes, in the Big version, anyone could look into these eyes and melt, I swear… give it a go, I need me some SLove, it tends to run away from me

I dug out this skin that I picked up from the Skin Fair, by Wax Poetic. I’m a huge lover of the Eloh Mod’s and thus, fell in love with the Wax Poetic skins, this one has some fairly dramatic eye makeup, in a pinup style (well dur, it is called pinup!) and it comes in sooo many different types, with waxed, toned and more! All for a super reasonable price, too!

The outfit is something I threw together, and tried to make light and spring/summery, as I said before. The top is from Larue over at LaLa FooFoo, one of the newest and may I say, hottest talents on the grid. This Polka Dot top really is a perfect top for summer, in lovely light colours, I chose Mint, but it comes in many! The pants are by Mimi Coral and I dunno if they exist in world anymore, but they exist on my butt, that’s all you need to know They come with a mint green/pink belt attached, so I thought that pretty much matched the top!

The pendant is from Canimal, and is super cute!! It’s a pretty simple chain, but it has a picture locket on it, that changes pic on click! I chose Hello Kitty, cos i’m all cute like that If you don’t own this piece, WHY THE FOOK NOT?!

The shoes are the Peep Slingbacks from ETD, I hate shoes in RL, with SUCH a fiery passion, as we all know, if we know me AT ALL, especially in this stupid, sticky heat. The last thing you wanna do is prance about in sodding trainers, but with a hate of shoes, you don’t get much choice, if I had to wear shoes in RL tho, I would love a pair like this! Simplistic peep toes with a nice slingback heel, not too heavy and hot, perfect to pair with an evening gown, or like me, with a summery look!

Well I guess that’s P done then, I dunno what else I can ramble with for P, how about Protected? I am fiercely protective of myself (and various other ppl :P) but what I mean, is that I don’t let my guard down often, sometimes not at all, i’ve been hugely shit on from great heights on SL before, many, MANY times, by people that I trusted with my life, so it takes me a long time to let ppl into this protected heart, and when I want to let ppl in, and it’s impossible, it makes me a sad bunneh =(, i’m kinda sad in SL right now, not that I log in a lot, but hey ho.. I have LOTRO to take my mind off of that!

I such a slacker! I’ve been totally immersed in LOTRO, and have kinda neglected my leisure time in SL and just concentrated on the work there, then I updated my drivers for LOTRO and it borked SL, ahhhhh it’s been a nightmare!

However, I figured i’d better post some shizzle before I drop off the face of the planet again, not that I mind flying under everybodies radars, but hey.. I still like playing barbies with my AV

I figured i’d do the letter “O” as that is the next in the A-Z blogs, and do you know.. I had not ONE single hair with O in my inventory! I had to go buy one and that isn’t the point, I FAILED AT LIFE, oh ok… I just failed at O, but oh well, who’s keeping count of my failures? HMMM?

Right, so I guess we will start at the hair I had to go buy! This is Olivia, from Truth. I do love the Truth styles, but i’m a bit wary of the textures, they are nice and all that jazz, but I guess i’m just a fan of my usual hairdressers textures and I find it hard to stray, but I thought Olivia was a nice hair style, and I am glad I added it to my collection, I went for a darker brown colour, for a lil bit of a change to the blonde that I usually wear!

The Skin is from the Vogue Deviant line, in tone Bronzed and it’s Excess - Overdose, as you can see, the eye make-up is the overdose part, as it’s fairly heavy, I found it hard to find a WL setting that made the skin look the actual colour with saturating it too much, or making it look fair instead of bronzed, so forgive me if the colouring is a tad off!  The lips have a nice glittery sheen to them, so a nice make up for an evening look!

My eyes (that are hidden in one pic by ETD’s Oversized Sunglasses :D) are from Miriel, queen of eyes!   She makes the most awesomeist eyes (when I stray from my CS ones) and a huge selection too, as I believe i’ve raved about before :P   These are Open Ocean, and are named so because of the gorgeous shade of Blue they are!

My outfit, I kinda threw together in a rush to try and get this post out, and is a mix/mash/mosh of Last Call and ETD, yeah I know, I always wear something from the same ppl, I can’t help it that their folders overrun my inventory! I will try to mix it up more, promise!  The pants are from Last Call’s Olivia, and a nice shiny White Satin, with lace detailing on the leg for a bit of extra pizazz!   The top is from ETD and is part of a set (I believe it comes with denims!) and is the Open Backed top, shown in charcoal, basically a simple top, with a fully open back and jacket length, hence you get a lurverly belt!

The shoes are from Jaywalk, formerly LC Vamp and i’m unsure as to whether they are still available, so let’s pretend they are.  Odessa are a nice summery wedge, these are the white, and havea nice floraly pattern to them, that you can’t see cos I slacked and didn’t take close ups!

To finish it off, i’m wearing Shiny Things Opal Egg Necklace in Silver, a nice simple accessory for those that don’t want to bling their heads off

Other O’s for the blog include OH DEAR I AM ADDICTED TO LOTRO, and OH DEAR I NEED MORE TIME TO FIT ALL THE STUFF I HAVE TO DO IN, and perhaps Oranges, I love me some Blood Oranges, why can’t you get them all year round?!
