I soweeee

I such a slacker! I’ve been totally immersed in LOTRO, and have kinda neglected my leisure time in SL and just concentrated on the work there, then I updated my drivers for LOTRO and it borked SL, ahhhhh it’s been a nightmare!

However, I figured i’d better post some shizzle before I drop off the face of the planet again, not that I mind flying under everybodies radars, but hey.. I still like playing barbies with my AV

I figured i’d do the letter “O” as that is the next in the A-Z blogs, and do you know.. I had not ONE single hair with O in my inventory! I had to go buy one and that isn’t the point, I FAILED AT LIFE, oh ok… I just failed at O, but oh well, who’s keeping count of my failures? HMMM?

Right, so I guess we will start at the hair I had to go buy! This is Olivia, from Truth. I do love the Truth styles, but i’m a bit wary of the textures, they are nice and all that jazz, but I guess i’m just a fan of my usual hairdressers textures and I find it hard to stray, but I thought Olivia was a nice hair style, and I am glad I added it to my collection, I went for a darker brown colour, for a lil bit of a change to the blonde that I usually wear!

The Skin is from the Vogue Deviant line, in tone Bronzed and it’s Excess - Overdose, as you can see, the eye make-up is the overdose part, as it’s fairly heavy, I found it hard to find a WL setting that made the skin look the actual colour with saturating it too much, or making it look fair instead of bronzed, so forgive me if the colouring is a tad off!  The lips have a nice glittery sheen to them, so a nice make up for an evening look!

My eyes (that are hidden in one pic by ETD’s Oversized Sunglasses :D) are from Miriel, queen of eyes!   She makes the most awesomeist eyes (when I stray from my CS ones) and a huge selection too, as I believe i’ve raved about before :P   These are Open Ocean, and are named so because of the gorgeous shade of Blue they are!

My outfit, I kinda threw together in a rush to try and get this post out, and is a mix/mash/mosh of Last Call and ETD, yeah I know, I always wear something from the same ppl, I can’t help it that their folders overrun my inventory! I will try to mix it up more, promise!  The pants are from Last Call’s Olivia, and a nice shiny White Satin, with lace detailing on the leg for a bit of extra pizazz!   The top is from ETD and is part of a set (I believe it comes with denims!) and is the Open Backed top, shown in charcoal, basically a simple top, with a fully open back and jacket length, hence you get a lurverly belt!

The shoes are from Jaywalk, formerly LC Vamp and i’m unsure as to whether they are still available, so let’s pretend they are.  Odessa are a nice summery wedge, these are the white, and havea nice floraly pattern to them, that you can’t see cos I slacked and didn’t take close ups!

To finish it off, i’m wearing Shiny Things Opal Egg Necklace in Silver, a nice simple accessory for those that don’t want to bling their heads off

Other O’s for the blog include OH DEAR I AM ADDICTED TO LOTRO, and OH DEAR I NEED MORE TIME TO FIT ALL THE STUFF I HAVE TO DO IN, and perhaps Oranges, I love me some Blood Oranges, why can’t you get them all year round?!

Following the herd…

Following a post on Kitty’s blog, I have too decided to air my “Getting to know you” answers here, i’ve had a fair few notecards and i’m barely in SL long enough to read, let alone send them back to everyone I would want to.  So for those of you interested, after the cut are my replies

Hai thur… yes, I am still alive, well at least in RL, eh!

So, I am still enjoying LOTRO, I am now a Lvl 33 Elf Hunter and a Level 15 Hobbit Minstral!  I am also going to make a Burglar JUST so I can throw dust in peoples eyes

I’ve been increasingly emo lately, I miss a lot of people on SL, not because i’m not there, or they aren’t there, just cos we are never there at the same times thanks to bloody stupid timezones!   So it’s making me rather sad, I try to keep in touch with everyone as much as I can via email/messengers, but it’s not always that easy, is it…  So EMOOOOO Willis has been popping on and off SL, watching her friends online list like a HAWK and still never finding herself awake at the same time as others, BOO HOO x billionty.

I popped on yesterday and threw together the “N” outfit, which I will share with you now, like the kind soul I am, not that anyone much cares, as we all know the world and his wife throw together outfits and show them off, but hey! Makes me feel like I log in to do something other than answer queries and try and find missing friends!

We will start from the top, and at the Eyes!  Again, a Celestial City pair, from the Deep Series, i’m not sure which I prefer best, the Deep or the Mirror, either way, I dig them all!   These are the Deep - Navy, and remind me a bit of the deepest part of the ocean, before it goes all inky black, assuming it does, i’ve played Endless Ocean on the Wii.. I KNOW THESE THINGS!

The hair is a Naughty style, Nicole, shown here in Warm Sand and available in oodles of colours.  I find I struggle with Sculpties, I find they either look “bacon-ish” or just… well.. they don’t rez well, which is my fault, not the sculpties!   But I try my best to embrace change (I will not embrace Dazzle UI tho, never in this WORLD!!!!!!) and so here I am, donning something that isn’t from my fav hair designer AND has sculpties!  GOOOO ME!

The skin is from Gala, and is one of her old lines in the Medium tone.   Gala released a couple of “Mod lips” sets, of which I own all, and this is the basic, and natural… neutral! I didn’t change it an ounce though, I really really love Earthy style make-up in SL and RL, so I stuck to Earthtones with this one, as I said before, i’m not a huge fan of change but I am trying to jumble it all up, honest!

Finally the outfit, a new-ish dress from Canimal called NOX!   Shown here in Red and available in a handful of gorgeous colours, this is the pefect dress for those of us that like to be a lil bit darker sometimes, but still have that streak of rebellious colour!  I love skulls, I love girly skulls… and well.. I jsut love the fact that this dress has an underbust ribbon with a Skull meeting in the middle! Girly… yet deadly, just the way I like to roll *dances around throwing pink fluffly knives*

So there we have N, again a short and sweet post, but what can I say, I have RL to attend to, and then I must meet Bean for some beatings in LOTRO, we are beating things you understand, not each other or them beating us!  NO.FEAR.

It’s mmmertime! *dances*

Ok, that was poor, but who cares?  It’s time for M!  We’re half way thru the alphabet already *sigh*, I really do need to stop killing things and mining for ore and get back on SL and do some stuff! My LOTRO obsession is killing me! (almost literally for my poor old Elf!)

Anyway, with M, I already had an outfit in mind before I even started and that one was Melrose that is/was a collaboration between Celestial Studios and Last Call. I remember the first time I put it on and I immediately fell in love with the top. I know everyone screams murder about babydolls and you either love, or hate them… personally I don’t have issues with them, but babydoll dresses really only suit you if you don’t have an AO that moves so your butt is sticking out, or you have no butt… and this baby has back.

This is why I opted for the shirt add-on, instead of the dress or babydoll, but I loved and still do love the choices you get in this set, you can choose from jeans (with sculptie add-ons), dress, babydoll or flouncy shirt (as seen here) in oooooodles of complimentary duo tones, i’m not 100% sure if this is still out in CS, but if it is, and you don’t have it… YOU SO SHOULD!

The eyes are from one of my main eye “suppliers” - Miriel! Miriel does such fantastic work with whatever she makes that it’s hard to choose from anything in the store without buying it all, so buying it all I did These are the Marine (Big) eyes, yes you get to choose from big and small, and the vendors are just ROCKING! If you’ve never seen them, when you purchase they ask you what size you’d like, then with what perms!! Everyone should use these vendors, oh yes! A beautiful light blue/green, these are the perfect addition to the family of eyes you might have!

Hair is a good ole fav from ETD - Maxine, in one of the best tetures, dirty blackened! Maxine was another immediate falling in love with item, as soon as i put it on, I was like… I LOVE THIS HAIR! I guess in SL terms it could be classed as “Old” hair now, as it isn’t a very recent release, but it’s most definately a fabulous one! With bangs that cutely frame your face and a bunch of hair that sits high on the head, cascading down your back, it’s a mainly casual style, but pair it with a dress and some stilettos and i’m sure you’ll look spiffy!

The Skin is a new MMS skin, Gen 4 - Sunkissed - Makeup 6. I do hate people not “naming” skins, it makes it very hard for my blogs to wear anything different than my staples and i’m *trying* to mix it up for you! One thing that I must get off my chest BEFORE we start about skins, is that Minnu makes different make-ups for different tones and I usually see a make-up I adore, on a tone that’s too light/dark and that makes Wiwwow sad! But it’s not a huge deal and it certainly doesn’t stop me looking, trying and sometimes buying! I chose this skin as it’s pretty make-up light, with nude lips, not even a hint of gloss, and some barely there pink shimmery eyeshadow, it’s a perfect spring/summer skin! These new skins also come with 2 brow options, and a really subtle freckle option, that i’m wearing here.

Finally the shoes, a good ole wedge from ETD. The Mary Jane Wedges aren’t shoes i’d normally think of wearing, but the brown meshed wonderfully with the Melrose colouring I chose, and they are some pretty nifty scuplties too! The Mary Jane Wedges come in oodles of lovely, shiney colours and everyone should own a pair, oh yes.

So that concludes M for today, the other thing with M that I think you should all have is Monopoly, who doesn’t love Monopoly??? It causes arguments and conflicts SUUUUREEEE, but we all love to huff about hotels on Mayfair and scramble for the GOOJF cards, who wouldn’t love it?

Know what else I love? MEMORY FOAM, and I really REALLY must try to utilize mine more instead of staying up insanely late for a school day killing shit!

Where OH Where is Willis??

Well, if you know me at ALL, you’ll know i’ve been in LOTRO!

I got addicted, I honestly didn’t think i’d like it, but I do! But it’s at that stage now where maybe I need to lay offfff a lil lol. I am trying so hard to keep up with my Kinship but *sigh* thanks to living in a ridiculous sodding timezone, I fail, so I shall just rely on them to help me when I fall behind and can’t kill Giant Spiders or get ambushed by Bog Prowlers!

I do actually miss SL on and off, mainly the people in it though, and not the bugs Funnily enough there was a buggy issue in LOTRO yesterday and SHOCKER a giant SL type hand was on the buggy bit… coincidence? I THINK NOT!

So yes, that’s where I’ve been and where I am mainly at the moment, LOTRO! I will get back here, infact I have a post lined up I just need to finish, not that i’m guessing anyone cares all that much, as most of the people that I know read this are busy in RL or are in LOTRO also

EL oh EL!

Yes, no.. actually who knows. I don’t!

L is the next letter in the letter blogs and I have taken precious time out of my LOTRO time to bring it to you! (yes, slightly addicted, not as much as others :P.. but I keep pressing spacebar in SL to jump, ctrl O to try opening things and I even thought a bunch of grass in my garden was glowing and I needed them for a quest, OH.DEAR.)

I decided to go for a lil bit of a RAWR look with L, because I feel slightly RAWR about things, there are ppl I don’t see much of any more that I miss terribly, thanks to stupid timezones and what not and that makes Willis sad and RAWR at the same time!

So, ok! Eyes are from Sin Skins, and are the ONLY eyes I have beginning with an L! So I didn’t have much choice of colour, but they are a really really REALLY light Green, I find them a little bit *too* pale, but a change is as good as a something or other.

The Hair is from Kin, one of the older hair designers in SL that I own almost everything from. This hair is Liv and is a cutesy style with two lil bunched up ponies and bangs that sweep over the forehead beautifully! It’s a bit of an older style, not TOO old, but not *brand new*.. but i’m sure it’s still there! You should check it out

The Skin is/was actually a Limited Edition from new skin makers Arcane, who can be found on Sweet Sorrow along with Truth! These are really nice skins, well shaded and well done. This is the Liquid skin in Latte tone of the LTD make-up, but there are a ton of skins there of all colours and make-up orientations, so you should get on over and have a peepo! I know I need to, but then I need to do LOTS of things in SL I find the cleavage on these nice, not too “boob job-ish” not too flat, so I can look sexy without looking like I have a gajillion push up bras on, or that I need a bloody boob job, nothing worse in SL that overpumped cleavage on skins, or those that have NO shading at all, i’m fussy, sue me!

The outfit I threw together super quick but I *knew* what I wanted. As soon as I dug out Refuge’s Leather Pants I knew that I need a leopard skin style top, I had a look in mind and I had to achieve it, and who better to provide us with one that the rockabilly queen, Antonia of Artilleri!?

Refuge is one of my fav stores, and Trinitee is a beautiful person, to top it off beautifully and these Leather Pants rock my world, they are detailed without looking like bin bags, woohoooo! Antie is also one of my fav people, although we don’t know each other all that well, she’s a pleasure to talk to and creates some of the most beautiful things I own, her prims are some of my favs! The Lacy Leo top is pretty much one of my favs, I love animal print in SL, probably cos i’d never thing of wearing it in RL

The shoes are from LC Vamp, now known as Jaywalk, by Lyra, and I chose Lissanna as when i’d put on my pants and my top, I figured it was a bit “Grease-ish” and these shoes reminded me of the sandals that Sandy wore at the end, so on they went, and they began with an L, so it was a total bonus!

So that’s L!  and my rawrness all over!

I could say tons about L, but I think the L word that means most to me…. LEMONS! (I bet you all thought I was gunna say love, eh? :P)  Lemons are fab, I love them!   I love eating them, yes I eat whole Lemons, I love having Ice Cubes with Lemon Slices in my drink.. I love Lemon Cheesecake, I love the colour Lemon, I just LOVE FRICKIN’ LEMONS!  I also love love, I am in love, I love my life, my family and my friends amongst other things.

Right now I would LOVE my 7yr old to stop talking so loudly, so maybe i’ll go and get some headache tablets eh?

Japancakes is a brand spankin’ new store I saw on the forums and decided to visit and OH EM GEE, I am in love!

I am showcasing here the most GORGEOUS and CUTE barettes I have seen in a loooooooong time and a really funky fresh take on the good ole neckscarf!

Firstly, let me point out I have taken pics of the barettes close up, rather than actually modded to my hair, because I wanted you to see them more clearly, but NO pics could do these things justice:

There are four types of barettes: Poppy, Pansy, Daisy and Star, all with oodles of colour options, and are a fooking STEAL at only $L80!   I particulary *love* the Star ones, and the textures on the Poppy are effin’ cute, with a stiched look around the edge!

The scarf which I classed as funky fresh take on the good ole’ neckscarf, is just that.  It’s a Petal Scarf!  It wraps beautifully around your neck and makes you look like a budding flower! (or just bloody nice!).  There are two “sets” available for the scarf, one with more exotic colours (black rose!) and a more plain version too, again a sodding steal at just $L150!   It’s scripted with 10 textures in each “set”, so you really only get the one scarf, that you click to change, saving precious inventory space!

So there you have it, a quicky post, but a lubberly, gorgeous one, I hope you’ll agree!

Firstly, WTF HAVE WORDPRESS DONE, I’m all BLUE! Secondly, sorry for my absence, I was dragged into LOTRO and I am now trying to go up two levels seeing as SOMEBODY PEOPLE *glares* have steamed past me in a NIGHT! *shakes fist at timezones and cries*, Thirdly, let me introduce you to Kicking Kuh! The most violent of the Letters!

I have had these pics sitting here, along with the meaning to write this post for a while, so I decided to stop battling monsters and come battle SL!

Ok, let’s start with KKKKKKKKKKKKK!

I refuse to DL the regular viewer now, so if I look ghey, blame my lack of interest in learning about WL! I chose this get-up, as I thought it was a lil different! Firstly, my eyes: They do not begin with K *epic fail*… I did not own ONE pair of “K” eyes! So I figured i’d wear PinK eyes, as they contained the letter K :P. For my hair, I chose ETD’s Kiley II, it’s one of my fav hairs, and there are two different Kileys to choose from, hence it being Kiley II. I love the bangs on this one and I love ponys/pigtails, I think they look *super* cute! I also thought i’d go with a different colour for a change, so Fire it was! Such a striking colour, no?

The Skin is from Celestial Studios Deviant Nation line, and is Kink, shown here in Cashmere. With it’s ruby red lips and glittery eye make-up, it makes for a different look altogether than your regular make-ups. For those with a bit of a fetish for the “not so norm”, the Deviant Nation skins are perfect, my fav of ALL time being “Fishnet”, I simply cannot get enough of that skin and if you don’t own it, FOR SHAME, PPL!

The outfit is from Sh!t Happens, which apparently is having a HUUUUUUGE sale at the moment. This is the Kawaii Kappuke-Ki, and it’s a complete outfit with MANY, MANY accesorries, from a cute Cupcake Backpack, to a Tie/Necklace attachment, Chunky Bracelets and MUCH more! You also get a White Jacket that isn’t shown here, if you’d like to cover up a bit more. I think it is SUCH a sweet outfit, sweet… and different! And different is what I was aiming for. You’d never normally find me wandering around the grid like this, but then you’d never find me wandering around the grid in a Michael Jackson AV complete with thrust anim and flexi penis, doesn’t mean I don’t have one >.>

The Shoes are one of my fav parts of the outfit, perhaps cos they mismatch and it’s too effin’ cute!

My polka dot Hi-Top isn’t on the leg with my polka dot Leggings! Some people nightmares, other peoples dreams! I just love it, I think they are so cuuuuuuuteeee! You can buy them in separate mis-matched pairs, too! Or you could when I bought this a while ago!

I’m afraid that is it for the letter K, it’s been a bit of a rush, I know, but I needed to update the blog, so I did

I was trying to think of other “K”’s that rock my world and I’m *really* struggling to think of some! I would say K-Fed, but he SO does not rock my world, he was just the first K that popped in to my head *shudders*, how about…. Krispy Kremes.. YES! Donuts… mmmmmmmmm. I remember visiting Sis and Simon had so kindly “lent” us his bankcard for “necessaties”… I firmly, to this day, believe that a $20 box of Krispy Kremes WERE necessary, no matter what ANYBODY says!

So yes, there-in concludes todays bish bash blog, I shall wait for someone to log in to LOTRO and HELP ME, or just go out and fall even more behind *sobs*

Mmmm Parfait!

Yes, everyones blogged them, and I am going to too, sue me!

The new Parfait skins were unveiled a couple of days ago, and if i’m TOTALLY honest, I wasn’t a HUGE fan of the first lot, as the nose really didn’t look right on me AT ALL, BUT… Roslin and CJ have worked on the nose and it’s much more fitting now, so that’s good nose.. er news!

They come in the three Parfait Tones:  Strawberry, Toffee and Vanilla and there are 6 scrummy makeups in each tone.   I have taken pics, IN SHITELIGHT WINDLIGHT with these, and I was doing *so* well, until my craptop™ decided to start playing stupid buggers (which I ENTIRELY blame on LOTRO for) and it crashed and *sigh* I hadn’t saved my settings, so the last picture looks a bit screwy SORRY, I was in a rush, I had to try and get into LOTRO and actually enjoy it!

So here is the first up, makeups 1 and 2 in Strawberry:

I do actually really really like these skins, I’m a huge fan of the Hand Drawn look, even if I don’t wear it all the time, it has a place in my heart for when i’m feeling like it! I particularly love the lips on these, I know people rant about fish/angelina lips ALL the time, but I like SL lips plumper more than thin, perhaps because there is one particular person i’ve come into contact with that has a hideous personality, and lips that are super thin

These lips have a spendid shape! Even if they don’t fit your AV, they are nice pouty, kissable lips!  Overall I think you can tell that I dig the skins, I love the nostril change, I love the constrats of the makeups available and hell, the freckles are cute too!
